My name is Mark Christensen, and
I am originally from Chicago, Illinois. Prior to working with the

| After graduating from a Big Ten University with
a business degree, I spent several years in retail management. Even
though I enjoyed the work, just like many others, I soon found that
climbing the corporate ladder had many unspoken disadvantages. Every
time I received a promotion, what little increase in pay I received,
was far outweighed by having to work longer and longer hours. Many
nights and weekends were added, resulting in many cancelled plans with

After dropping out of college, I began working
as an Ice-truck driver for a local ice company. What was supposed to
be a summer job, soon turned into a 3 year nightmare of frustration
and uncertainty about my future. Working 65+ hours of physical labor

When our children came into our lives, neither
of us had any doubts that one of us would stay home to raise them.
